This is Fern Bacon.  There will be a small ground-breaking ceremony for the new Fern Bacon Middle School tomorrow, Monday, June 2 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM.  It will be held in front of the school in the small tree grove facing Cuny Avenue.

We are two short weeks away from the end of the school year.  Award letters have gone home with students.  The 7th Grade Awards Ceremony is this Thursday, June 5 at 9:00 AM.  Our 8th Grade Awards Ceremony is Friday, June 6th at 10:00 AM.  

Our Promotion Dance will be held this Friday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.  Tickets will be sold at lunch.  If you’re not sure if your child will receive an award, please call our Front Office at (916) 395-5340.  Thank you and have a good evening.
