Sad news for our Fern Bacon Community
We have sad news to share about one of our students, Andrew Bernal. We learned today that Andrew died over the weekend. His family shared it was an unexpected health issue and this is all the information they have to share at this time. Andrew was a shining star, always positive, kind and caring in demeanor, a member of our garden club, and a San Francisco 49er fan. We will miss Andrew’s presence on campus and in our classrooms. I know you will join me in keeping the family in your thoughts.
The news of this loss may raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for your child. Our staff here at Fern Bacon will be available tomorrow, Tuesday, 9/17 to provide support on campus. In addition, we have sent enclosed resources via email that may be useful to you in helping your child at home. We encourage you, as parents, to also feel free to use these resources.
