The purpose of this email is to let parents / guardians know that your child is currently enrolled at Fern Bacon Middle School.  As we prepare for your child’s transition to middle school, we would like to make sure your child has the classes they need.  If they haven’t already, please visit our  website at www.fernbacon.scusd.edu and fill out the  ”Incoming 7th Grade Course Request Form.”  Students will need to sign into their SCUSD Google Account to access the form.  Starting Monday, August 31st your child can then check for their CLASS SCHEDULE by accessing their Infinite Campus account.  This Quick Link to request parent access to Infinite Campus can also be found on our Fern Bacon website. 

If your child will not be attending Fern Bacon in September, please let us know what school site they will be attending.  You may email Johnny-Vue@scusd.edu so that you he may begin this process for you.  

Also, for school-wide planning purposes the district is asking that all parents and guardians need to complete a  ”Return Together”  form for your child.  You can find this form at www.scusd.edu/return-together-form. The form asks for parent input on how you would like your child to attend school when we reopen, any technology needs you may have, and necessary feedback on distance learning.  Please complete this form by August 10th to help us provide the best experience for your child.  

Lastly, you will soon be receiving information on New Parent / Student Orientation information and laptop pick-up if needed.  Check our  website at www.fernbacon.scusd.edu for all the latest information and communication to parents / families.
