Good evening Families of Fern Bacon Middle School, 

This is Mrs. Coronado, Principal, calling to keep you updated and informed. Our WEBSITE is always up to date with the latest information for you to review at your convenience.  

This Friday 1/27/2023 marks the end of the 2nd quarter. FINAL GRADES will be posted on Friday this MINIMUM DAY. Please know school will be dismissed at 12:15 PM. 

Our school district is partnering with Kelvin Education asking students to take a SURVEY asking about their social-emotional wellness.  Please encourage your child to fill out this very important survey to help us put in the supports they need.

We have partnering with the Early Smiles program to offer FREE DENTAL SCREENING for our families and students this Friday immediately after school.  They will be set up in Room 24 from 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM.  It is open to all but students must attend with a parent or guardian.

There is still time to volunteer on our School Site Council / English Learner Advisory Committee. If this is something you’re interested in, please call the Front Office at (916) 395-5340.

Lastly, we are in need of custodial staff on the night shift from 2 PM-10:30 PM here at Fern Bacon.  If interested, you can apply ONLINE or come in to our Front Office to get more information. Salary range is $16.38-$18.69 with full benefits paid for by the school district for you and your family.

Este viernes 27 de enero 2023 marca el final del 2do trimestre. Las CALIFICACIONES FINALES se publicarán el viernes de este DÍA MÍNIMO. Por favor note que la escuela saldrá a las 12:15 P.M. 

Nuestro distrito escolar está trabajando con Kelvin Education para pedir a los estudiantes que llenen una ENCUESTA sobre su bienestar social y emocional. Por favor de animar a su hijo o hija a completar esta encuesta muy importante para ayudar con recursos que necesitan. 

Nos hemos asociado con el programa Early Smiles para ofrecer EXAMENES DENTAL GRATIS  para nuestras familias y estudiantes este viernes después de la escuela. Estarán en el Salon 24,  junto del Programa de After School, desde las 12:30 PM hasta las 3:30 PM. Está abierto a todos, pero los estudiantes deben asistir con un pariente.
