Good evening families of Fern Bacon Middle School.  This is Mrs. Coronado with a very important message from our School Board.  Please take a minute to listen. Earlier this week it was decided to use the 3 foot physical distancing guidelines which can expand in-person learning to 4 days a week for schools that have classroom space.  At this time, we at Fern Bacon are able to offer all students who are currently doing 2 days a week of in-person learning to 4 days a week, Tuesday thru Friday. Our daily bell schedule remains the same from from 9:00 AM to 12:20 PM.  4 days of in-person learning will begin Wednesday, June 2nd.  Next week, Tuesday stays the same with only Group A in attendance.  Once again, at Fern Bacon we will be collapsing both Groups A and B to be in attendance four days a week starting Wednesday, June 2nd.  Our expectation is that all health and safety protocols remain in place with the screening of students in the cafeteria and allowing at least 3 feet of distance between students in the classroom.  

Should you wish your child to remain two-days a week in-person learning, please call the main office.  If you are currently in Group C doing full-time distance learning but would like to return 4 days a week, please call our main office.  At this time our classrooms are at full capacity, but would be happy to add you to our the Wait List.  

We are very excited to see your child on campus for additional days per week.
