Good evening families of Fern Bacon. This is Ms. Coronado with a couple of announcements. This week please help to remind your child to fill out the Student Engagement Survey every day. This survey is being used to track attendance as well as a wellness check. We want to make sure we are responding to all student needs.
8TH GRADE REQUEST TO CHANGE HOME HIGH SCHOOL
DEADLINE: FRIDAY, MAY 1ST
Any 8th grade student who is interested in a high school THAT IS NOT THEIR HOME SCHOOL, can apply via permit now. Deadline is Friday, May 1st. Students and families MUST APPLY ONLINE. No walk-ins. This is NOT FOR STUDENTS who have been ACCEPTED to a high school Specialty Program. This is only for students who wish to CHANGE their home school.
Don’t assume you know which high school is your home high school. Do your research! Type in your address into the School Locator to find out!

This is Ms. Coronado calling to tell you that WE WILL NOT BE CHECKING OUT LAPTOPS tomorrow, Friday, April 10 due to a delay in our Chromebook shipment. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and the late notice. Please continue to check our district website for an announcement and a future date. Our 3rd Make-up day will be this MONDAY, MAY 4th. Fern Bacon Middle School will be checking-out laptops to Fern Bacon students who did not get a chance to pick one up last time. One laptop per Fern Bacon student.

Good evening families of Fern Bacon Middle School. This is Ms. Coronado. Sac City Unified has now officially announced that we will not be returning to school for the rest of the school year. I know I can say on behalf of our entire Fern Bacon staff that this saddens us knowing we will not be able to finish the school year together.
