This is a reminder of our MINIMUM DAY this Friday, April 8th. Dismissal time is 12:15 PM. There will be a Grab and Go lunch at this time and no supervision after 12:45 PM. Thank you for picking your child up on time.
Fern Bacon Updates
Good evening Fern Bacon families,
This is Mrs. Coronado with several important messages. If you haven’t heard already, we are excited to be back in school. The district, SCTA and SEIU have negotiated and schools are now reopen.
The first bell rings at 8:10 AM. We’ve had lots of tardies this year which only adds to the disruption of learning. The teacher has to stop teaching to check-in late students. Please help us by sending your child to school on time.
SCUSD & SCTA LABOR NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE 3/29/2022
Good evening families of Fern Bacon Middle School,
District leaders have again continued to work throughout the day on behalf of our children to reach agreements to bring our students back to school. At this time, we do not have any additional updates. You can visit the district website for more information on negotiations, including the most recent proposals and counterproposals with our labor partners.
Please expect communication from the district later this evening to confirm whether or not we are able to safely open our schools tomorrow.

Due to labor action, all Sac City schools will remain closed tomorrow for student instruction and activities. All students must remain at home.

COVID UPDATE FROM FERN BACON MIDDLE SCHOOL

This is Mrs. Coronado with a Covid update. As you know, Covid rates are decreasing. We’ve not had a Covid positive case since 2/07/22. This week we’ve had two (2) individuals test positive in the following classrooms:
