Our 3rd Make-up day will be this MONDAY, MAY 4th. Fern Bacon Middle School will be checking-out laptops to Fern Bacon students who did not get a chance to pick one up last time. One laptop per Fern Bacon student.

BACK TO SCHOOL BACKPACK GIVEAWAY; A GENEROUS DONATION FROM THE BROTHERS OF OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY, INC.
We want to thank the Brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity for their generous donation of backpacks. On the first day of school, every 7th and 8th grade student at Fern Bacon Middle School will receive a backpack full of school supplies with lined paper, binders, pens, pencils, erasers, highlighters and more. Their hope is to provide every child with the school supplies students need to have a successful and productive school year.
College Track Sacramento
College Track is a free college completion program that empowers students to graduate from a four-year college.

Good evening Fern Bacon families. This is Mrs. Coronado. Tomorrow, Monday, June 10th will be our last day on a regular schedule. There are only 4 days left of school with minimum days starting on Tuesday. There is no school on Friday. Lunch will be served immediately on Minimum Days after dismissal at 12:15 pm.
Tuesday, June 11th , 8th graders will have their Promotion Ceremony practice during 4th period.

PERMITS FOR 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR
Thank you for applying for an intra-district / inter-district permit to have your child attend Fern Bacon Middle School other than your neighborhood school of attendance. Permit transfers are approved based on space availability. A transcript / grades as well as attendance and behavior reports are required upon submission of permit. The last day to submit your permit for the 2019-2020 academic year is May 17, 2019.
UPDATE: AS OF 8/14/2019, WE ARE CURRENTLY FULL AND ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY STUDENTS ON PERMIT.

Good evening families of Fern Bacon Middle School. This is Mrs. Coronado calling to celebrate the end of our state testing and the last day of a block schedule. Next week we return to regularly scheduled full days. Thank you for your support of your child during these days. We are confident all students did their best on the test. As a result of our students working hard, last year 94% of our students showed academic growth in ELA. We have lots to be proud of here at Fern Bacon.
